ZUKU Channel 602


Akili Network, creators of Akili Kids!, Kenya’s first and only free-to-air children’s learning TV channel, announces a partnership with ZUKU, the homegrown East African TV brand from Wananchi Group. As of this writing, ZUKU will now carry Akili Kids! on channel 602 for all existing ZUKU subscribers.

Akili Kids! was made in and for the Kenyan market, and is designed for all children, as well as their parents and caregivers. Per Geopoll, Akili Kids! has 5.4 million children and 4.3 million adults watching every week. Akili Kids! is the safest destination for kids of all ages, with wonderful international and locally produced programs. Akili Kids! also has a comprehensive child-protective advertising policy that ensures that children are not exposed to unhealthy or potentially harmful marketing messages.

ZUKU was established with the aim of making quality home entertainment and communication services accessible to a rapidly growing, choice conscious African middle class, having successfully launched their TV services in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi and most recently Zambia.

Akili Kids! will now be available on ZUKU channel 602. Featuring content such as Yo Gabba Gabba, Word Girl, Akili and Me, Boom na Wabi, The Backyardigans, Wonderpets, Wild Kratts and so many more entertaining shows not just for the children but the whole family as well.
